●Author: Ojiro Matsui
Director of Taikiken Buzen-kai. Born in 1972. He was a former vice-captain of the Waseda Nipponkempo Club, where he won technical awards and other prizes at student championships. After graduation, he practiced mixed martial arts and later began training under Master Michio Shimada of Taiki Shisei Kenpo Kikou-kai. He has since won numerous awards, including winning a Sanda competition, and is currently working to spread Taikiken, mainly in Sapporo. He is also a non-regular contributor to the martial arts magazine 'HIDEN' and regularly interacts with martial arts instructors from various schools.
●Translator: Remy Castella
Graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and currently works as a freelance translator based in Sapporo. He has practiced various martial arts since childhood, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Capoeira, and now trains under Master Ojiro Matsui of Taikiken Buzen-kai.
